Aussie actor Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows in the hit TV series, has had a nasty bout of spontaneous combustion following a night on the town. The rhino headed celebrity was in Dallas, where the show is filmed when the incident occurred. Onlookers described Mr Purcell as seeming “queasy” as he stumbled about for a number of hours before bursting into flames.
Happily the actor only lost his legs and his eyes and was available to film the conclusion of the weeks episode without much delay. Robert Knepper, who plays “T Bag”, described Purcell as a “fine, upstanding citizen. Except he can no longer stand upright”.
