“Carrie” writer Steven King is locked in a tense legal battle with a 4 year old female panda. Lawyers for the bamboo-loving mammal, which lives at San Francisco zoo, claim she wrote Kings as yet unpublished novel “The Blood Givers”.

Tarantino and Lundgren in Immigration Epic
“Pulp Fiction” director Quentin Tarantino and “He Man” knucklehead Dolph Lundgren are top lining a mega budget historical family drama.
“Me So Solly” features Lundgren as a Chinese man in the late 19th century who embarks on a journey across the pacific ocean to make a better life for himself and his young daughter, played by Tarantino, in San Francisco.
“It’s a kick ass picture with lots of emotion and huge vistas of America’s pacific coast. Dolph learned to speak mandarin especially for the part. I wear a frilly bonnet and skirt. It’s da sh*t, aieee”, enthused the banana chinned Tarantino, who is leaving the directing duties to veteran “Taxi Driver” scribe Paul Schrader.
The film is co-produced by Dreamworks and the Chinese communist Party.
